From the grandiose garage-psych title track to the prog-Dixieland-barbershop “Baby Goes Back” (about being born when Sir Mix-a-Lot’s “Baby Got Back” was #1 on the charts) to the 80-piece orchestral closer “My Room,” this LP weaves together jagged sounds and peculiar images to create a truly singular musical experience.
